Performance testing is the practice of evaluating how a system performs in terms of responsiveness and stability under a particular workload. Load testing is meant to test the system by constantly and steadily increasing the load on the system until it reaches the threshold limit. It is a subset of performance testing. Load testing can be easily done by employing any of the suitable automation tools available in the market. LoadRunner is a famous tool that aids in load testing. LoadRunner is a widely used HP’s testing tool which is released to perform load testing of web applications, APIs and web services. It can also be used to measure system behavior and performance under load.
